THE Kruger Lowveld Chamber of Business and Tourism sent out a notice that roadside corruption by traffic officers is once again increasing with the holidays looming.
Motorists had reported that they got stopped and fined for not having “a green card,” for not stopping at a non-existent stop street and various other trumped-up charges.
PLEASE OBTAIN AN ANTI-CORRUPTION CARD FREE FROM THE KLCBT OFFICE AT CROSSINGS.
Should a policeman, traffic officer, and legal entity try to bribe you, show the card and even before doing that, take down his name and rank number. Do not get confrontational but DO NOT PAY BRIBES.
