THE body of a domestic worker Thandi Zitha (55), was recently exhumed in Bushbuckridge to establish the cause of her death. Zitha was buried last month by her family without a post-mortem being conducted. She was reportedly certified dead due to suspected natural causes, however, not by the South African Police Services but a private security entity.

Zitha worked at Shandon Estate just outside Nelspruit and rumours are that she could have been killed by her employers but until the autopsy had been done, SAPS did not elaborate on the issue.

The results of the autopsy are still awaited.
