THE Mpumalanga Department of Health has urged the public at large to be cautious of  people who target mothers of new-born babies at hospitals and c. These people claim to be a part of a  health department campaign to collect and register unborn babies within 30 days. they then disappear with the babies.

In the latest incident, the labour ward of a government KwaZulu-Natal hospital was targeted in what is thought to be part of a human traffic syndicate. The people in question even wear health department name tags.

The Mpumalanga Department of Health has assured community members that all staff at the provincial healthcare facilities will be vigilant. Please be alert and do not allow anyone to take your baby out of your sight.
