Police are investigating an alleged mob justice killing
WITH rural communities getting frustrated about the crime in their areas and what seems to be the delayed arm of the law, local police is investigating what could be another incidence of mob justice in Tonga, Nkomazi.
According to information, a badly hurt, half-naked 35-year old man was found on the side of a road and after having been certified dead by paramedics, local saps are now investigating a murder which is suspected to have resulted from the community taking the law into their own hands.
SAPS is expected to make arrests soon.
Police are once again pleading with the community not to take the law to their own hands, but to work hand-in-hand with the police in fighting crime, despite what they may perceive as a lack on the side of SAPS to bring order to the communities.
