Mozambique floods update

Floods in Mozambique.

SEARCH and rescue mission continues as some parts of Mozambique experiences intense rainfall and floods.
The affected areas include Zambezia, Tete and Niassa. The National Institute for Disaster Management said five people have died, others reported missing and over 1000 houses destroyed.
According to the authorities about 48401 people were affected, 7 fatalities, 134 were rescued, 3911 houses were partially damaged, 3016
homes were totally destroyed, 958 were flooded, and some of the school were damaged. A total of 9763 learners were affected by the situation.
