Police have called on the public to come forward with the information that could lead to the arrest of the criminals who shot and killed two executive committee members of KwaNdebele United Local and Long Distance Taxi Association (KULLDTA) in Mpumalanga. The victims were gunned down in separate incidents that occurred on Tuesday and Wednesday.
“First to be killed was Timothy Zwane(57) who was allegedly shot by unknown men driving in a black Mercedes Benz at Kgobokoane Taxi Rank. One of the passengers also sustained serious injuries and rushed to hospital,” said Mpumalanga police spokesperson Sgt Gerald Sedibe.
The second incident occurred the next morning at about 09:00, where Tari Joel Mnguni(61) was shot and killed after he apparently attended a taxi industry related meeting.
