TWO men were arrested last night at OR Tambo International airport after they were allegedly found in possession of 10 pieces of rhino horn worth about R2 million.

South African Police Services spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Katlego Mogale said: “The suspects aged 36 and 40 arrived at the airport with the intention of boarding a flight to Vietnam but they were intercepted by the SAPS team and their luggage was searched,” said Mogale.

The suspects will be appearing in the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court on charges of illegal possession of rhino horn soon.
